Earlier this week while rock climbing, Vince took a 60 ft. Whipper and sustained multiple injuries to his left side. The climbing group did a great job getting him off the wall and contacting help. He was med evac’ed out to Anchorage late Wednesday night. Almost all the damage is on the left side, where he slammed into the mountain face. Lots of broken bones and needs minor surgery, but almost no damage to internal organs. He has a TBI with brain bleeds but is on the mend. This will be a long road to recovery for Vince. Molly is with Vince in Anchorage for an unknown period of time while he gets required care, surgeries, and healing. Molly and Vince are both active in living and contributing to the community and have two little young ones to care for. We would like to help ease the financial burden and stress of being in Anchorage and all the medical expenses that follow that so they can focus on Vince’s recovery and taking care of the kids.
